CWR Piano Teaching (formerly Sydney Piano Academy) is a mobile teaching service that specialises in beginner piano tuition for both adults and children. Founded in 2009, CWR Piano Teaching realises the time demands of everyday life, as well as the convenience and comfort of having lessons in your own home. Our qualified teachers travel to student's homes in the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South Sydney and Inner City of Sydney, at a time that suits you. All our teachers are experienced piano players who are passionate about working with children and making music learning fun.
About the Director:
Australian-born Chloe Waldron began Suzuki piano at age 3 and violin at age 4. After showing exceptional ability and a musical ear early on, Chloe went on to complete her AMEB grades with High Distinction and receiving impressive results in Sydney esteddfords. At age 10, Chloe turned down a private high school music scholarship to in order to attend the Conservatorium of Music High School (Sydney). There she commenced study with concert pianist Paul Rickard - Ford, with who she remained for the next ten years. Whilst also remaining dedicated with her violin studies with violinist Ronald Thomas, Chloe received her AMusA diploma on the piano, with distinction, at age 14, placing her in the top percentile of diploma students. 2 years later, Chloe completed her LMusA on the piano at age 16, before becoming House Vice-Captain in year 12 and graduating at top of the class with a mark of 100% for 3 Unit HSC Music. After 4 years of undergraduate study and receiving a mark of High Distinction for her final solo performance, Chloe graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Music Honours in 2011, and is currently. working towards a Bachelor of Psychology. Chloe's postgraduate study will continue to be focused on the existing piano methodologies available for beginner piano students and how they can be improved from an educational psychology standpoint. Chloe has been teaching for going on 15 years, with students receiving excellent results in the Australian Music Examinations Board exams in 2015.
